Lauren is a flutist and educator in Newport News, pursuing her Doctorate of Musical Arts at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Outside her active performance schedule, Lauren was the Graduate Assistant for the Las Vegas Philharmonic. She currently oversees the Education and Community Engagement Department. She is a fifer of the Los Angeles Fife and Drum Corps.
Lauren's current research entails mental musicianship for greater practice room efficiency, and fife and drum pedagogy in the public school music curriculum.
She offers lessons in the Newport News, Virginia area in addition to online lessons via Zoom or Google Meets.
